She has had her education at the University of Nigeria: Yale University, Johns Hopkins University, University of Nigeria, Drexel University, and the Eastern Connecticut State University
Chimamanda has won several awards including the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction, MacArthur Fellowship,Beyond Margins Award, and the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards.
