In the media release which was also sent to USAfricaonline.com, the former immediate past Group Managing Director of Diamond Bank said “Our opponents are desperate and are resorting to spreading false news, harassing our campaign personnel and destroying our banners! Only our votes can put a stop to these unlawful actions.” His main opponent is the current Gov. Theodore Orji’s pick, Chief Okezie Ikpeazu of the PDP.

On his prospects “I’ve witnessed the drive for change by hard-working Abians, away from the status quo. Look at the commitment and endorsement from the traders and business folks from the Ariara market in Aba. They, like many citizens and friends of Abia have had enough of the same small group toying with the present and future of Abia State. Abians are saying, loudly no more stooges and half-baked yes men who are hand-picked to preserve a failed legacy and agenda”, said the former Group Managing Director of Diamond Bank Plc, in an exclusive interview with USAfricaonline.com and CLASSmagazine Publisher Chido Nwangwu.
