World Soccer: Ghana’s flies Africa’s flag with win over USA

Ghana superstar striker Asamoah Gyan’s experience and superb performance saw their national team defeat the courage and efforts of the U.S national squad at the 2010 FIFA World Cup Soccer championship in South Africa. This followed 1-1 tie at the end of 93minutes at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday. The first goal came from the vibrant Kevin-Prince Boateng in the 5th minute.
Ghana, the lone surviving team from Africa, has an excellent mix of young, skilled and energetic players. The Ghana starting line up: Richard Kingson, John Paintsil, Hans Adu Sarpei, Jonathan Mensah, John Mensah, Anthony Annan, Samuel Inkoom, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Asamoah Gyan, Kwadwo Asamoah, Andre Ayew.
