Two Houston area/Missouri city sisters Josephine and Jennifer Onita, have been confirmed by USAfrica, as
among the dead from the June 3, 2012 plane crash in Lagos, Nigeria.
Their parents, Pastor Solomon Onita and Pastor Oyinlola Onita, serve as the pastors of
Redeemed Christian Church of God’s Sanctuary of His Praise (of the RCCG Zone 11) in Stafford here in Texas.
The USAfrica contact who is a member of the church and also close to the family informed me that Jennifer was active in church support services and outreach/humanitarian work; She combined her dedication to faith task for several years with her school work. She studied Electrical Engineering at Texas Tech University.Significantly, the goals of the church proclaim that the sanctuary is “a church of all nations who enjoys uplifting each other as well as giving back to the community.”
Clearly, the 3 prominent Onita daughters have maintained such admirable commitment to their family, friends and community. Those values took the two, primarily, for the visit to Nigeria. ref: USAfricaonline.com
