Primarily, they represent great wealth; When Abraham journeys to Egypt, the Pharaoh offers him a huge bounty, including sheep, servants and — the crème de la crème — camels, in exchange for Abraham’s wife, Sarah (though in fairness, the Pharaoh thought they were siblings).
