USAfrica: Buhari jets back to London for urgent medical treatment

Nigeria’s ailing President Muhammadu Buhari is enroute London, for an indefinite period of medical check up.


USAfrica & note that the sudden but expected move to take care of his health has added to the speculation and chatter about his yet to be disclosed illness.

Last week added to the 3rd consecutive week the 74-year-old former army General missed the Cabinet meetings. His media aides said the man was working from home.


He spent 6 weeks medical leave in London earlier this year. His extended treatment led to numerous speculation about his condition; and many claimed Buhari had died.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is the acting President.
