Troops from Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) successfully raided a suspected terrorist hideout in Taraba State, resulting in the arrest of five individuals believed to have ties to a notorious bandit operating in the region.
The operation took place in Peva, within the Takum Local Government Area, as part of ongoing efforts to combat banditry and terrorism. Lieutenant Ahmad Zubairu, the Acting Media Information Officer for OPWS, confirmed the arrests in a statement released on Thursday.
