President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Nigeria on Tuesday evening after a four-week trip abroad, which included a ‘working vacation’ in France and the UK. His arrival at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos occurred around 6:22 p.m.
Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos, House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, Deputy Senate President Jubril Barau, and Kwara State Governor AbdlRahman AbdulRazaq were present to welcome him back.
President Tinubu’s absence had raised questions among the populace, particularly as his initial three-week vacation extended beyond the planned duration. Additionally, the president’s failure to attend the United Nations General Assembly for a third consecutive year heightened concerns among many Nigerians.
