Authorities in Phuket, Thailand have apprehended a 36-year-old Nigerian man on suspicion of possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute. The arrest took place on November 5, 2026, by the Cherng Talay Police.
During the operation, law enforcement officers seized approximately 7.3 grams of cocaine, categorized as a Category 2 narcotic. Additionally, items confiscated included 257 plastic bags believed to be intended for drug packaging, two digital scales, two mobile phones, a sedan, and other related paraphernalia.
The suspect faces charges for possession of Category 2 narcotics for the purpose of sale without a license. He has been transferred to investigators for further legal action.
