Kenneth Imasuagbon, a prominent member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has denounced a Federal High Court judgment that voided the party’s process of selecting former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as its presidential candidate for the approaching 2027 elections. He characterized the ruling as ‘despicable’ and ‘unacceptable.’
In an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Imasuagbon expressed that the judgment contradicted constitutional principles. He emphasized his belief that despite the ruling, Atiku Abubakar will still be able to contest in the upcoming election. ‘Atiku will be on the ballot, and he will win,’ he stated confidently.
