Diwali celebrations began on Sunday as more than a billion people across India and the global diaspora came together for one of Hinduism’s most significant festivals. The festivities are rooted in the triumph of light over darkness, symbolized by the worship of Lord Rama, whose birthplace is believed to be in Ayodhya.
In Ayodhya, an array of activities marked the occasion, including performances inspired by the Hindu epic Ramayana. Entertainment offerings featured vibrant laser and light shows, live music, and awe-inspiring fireworks displays, complemented by the use of drones for aerial presentations.
