CBN raises cargo clearance exchange rate to N952/$

The Central Bank of Nigeria has elevated the exchange rate for cargo clearance from N783/$ to N952/$. This adjustment follows closely on the heels of a recent increase, shifting from N757/$ to N783/$ just three weeks prior. The updated rate was observed on the Nigeria Customs Service portal on Thursday. Notably, in November, there was a 3.4% surge in the exchange rate for cargo clearance, rising from N757 per dollar to N783 per dollar.
