Event Schedule Highlights
The Trump-Vance Inaugural Committee has organized an opening musical prelude featuring the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Combined Choirs and “The President’s Own” U.S. Marine Band. Senator Klobuchar will then issue a call to order, followed by an invocation delivered by Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York, and the Rev. Franklin Graham.
Christopher Macchio, a renowned opera singer known as “America’s Tenor,” will perform “Oh, America!” Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh will swear in Vice President JD Vance. Chief Justice John Roberts will then administer the presidential oath of office to Donald Trump.
Entertainment will include performances by country singer Carrie Underwood, accompanied by the Armed Forces Chorus and the U.S. Naval Academy Glee Club, singing “America the Beautiful.” The Glee Club will also perform “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”
