In a recent interview with the BBC, Hunter described the toll the disease has taken on his father, stating it has become ‘very painful.’ Despite these challenges, he noted that Biden remains engaged in political discussions, expressing his enduring belief in the country.
The former president was first diagnosed with prostate cancer in May 2025 during a routine medical examination. His office indicated that the cancer was aggressive. After completing radiation treatment last October, details regarding his condition have been sparse. In June, his wife, Jill Biden, mentioned in an interview that he is expected to live with cancer throughout his life.
At 82, Biden was the oldest individual to serve as U.S. president. His health has raised concerns and criticisms regarding transparency, affecting his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race. Additionally, he is set to release a memoir on November 17.
