Nobel Peace laureate Oleksandra Matviichuk, who leads the Centre for Civil Liberties, has made serious allegations against Donald Trump regarding his financial influence on Russia’s ongoing military campaign in Ukraine.
In an interview with FRANCE 24, Matviichuk stated that Trump’s recent diesel supply deal with Moscow effectively facilitates the conflict. She asserted that by lifting sanctions, Trump is enabling Russia to generate additional revenue, which she claims is being directed towards military actions, including the production of rockets and drones.
Matviichuk warned that this influx of funds could lead to increased civilian casualties, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
