Claire Chadwick, a 40-year-old woman from the United Kingdom, tragically passed away in Nigeria after suffering from sepsis while 37 weeks pregnant. Her unborn baby girl also did not survive due to complications that arose during her pregnancy.
Chadwick had moved to Nigeria to build a new life with her husband, Ibrahim. The couple was known for sharing aspects of their life on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, where they connected with a substantial audience through posts about their relationship, faith, and various challenges.
In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, Chadwick’s family has begun a GoFundMe campaign with the goal of raising £10,000. This funding is intended to facilitate the repatriation of both Claire and her unborn daughter to the UK for a proper burial. Her sister, Shannon, emphasized the family’s desire to ensure they are laid to rest with dignity among loved ones.
Describing her late sister, Shannon reflected on Claire as a strong-minded individual who lived life on her own terms and left a lasting impact on those around her.
