Gadi Eisenkot has been formally tasked with the responsibility of forming Israel’s next government. This opportunity comes in the wake of elections held recently, during which neither of the principal political parties secured an overall majority.
Following the electoral results, Eisenkot, a former army chief, will commence efforts on Sunday to assemble a coalition capable of governing the country, navigating the complex landscape of Israeli politics.
