USAfrica: A Nigerian man residing in Brazil since 2006, Vincent Chinweuwa, has pushed the concealment methods of dealing and trafficking in drugs to a unique, chef antics level: hiding 2.655 kilogrammes of cocaine hidden inside roasted
chicken!
National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) assessed the street value of the chicken cocaine at N24 million; following his arrest at the Murtala Muhammed international airport in Lagos, after disembarking from a Turkish Airline flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil
The NDLEA Airport Commander, Hamza Umar notes that “It is a remarkable seizure because no one would have imagined cocaine worth several millions inside roasted chicken.”
The NDLEA quotes Chinweuwa as complaining that “Life has been stressful because I cannot even visit my wife in Nigeria due to lack of money. I wanted some money to start any business of my choice back home.”
In March 2012, a major Nigerian cocaine dealer Adegboyega Adeniji was jailed for 30 years for his deals in the U.K., the most recent known package worth almost 5 million pounds. https://usafricaonline.com/2012/03/03/nigerian-cocaine-dealer-adegboyega-adeniji-jailed-for-30-years/
USAfrica The Newspaper and USAfricaonline.com have reported severally in the past 19 years that Nigeria’s international airports and a handful of Nigerians have been seen by many international anti-drug as conduits for narcotics and other hard drugs.

The greatest Igbo ODUMEGWU OJUKWU’s great farewell in Aba. By Chido Nwangwu https://usafricaonline.com/2012/02/28/the-greatest-igbo-odumegwu-ojukwu-farewell-in-aba-by-chido-nwangwu
USAfrica: Ikemba ODUMEGWU OJUKWU’s farewell in Aba, today February 28, 2012, reflected a fitting tribute, historically meaningful celebration, proper regard and deserving appreciation of the greatest Igbo, in my opinion, to have ever lived (like him or hate him).
I SALUTE Aba (aka Enyimba city), the robust and fearless town I was born, bred and raised, for giving the Ikemba, our Ochiagha, Gburugburu, Oka oburu uzo, dike na ndu ma n’onwu, mgbadike anyi, a hero’s farewell.
To the Ikemba, may your valiant soul rest in peace and dignity.
We will, and I, Chido Nwangwu, will never forget to continue to tell my generation and the next about your towering courage through tempest and thunder; through sorrow, pain, tears, blood….
