Haiti crises, Pat Robertson, Rush Limbaugh and some devil’s pact

I am concerned about the recent snide remarks made by a couple of well known radio and TV personalities in the United States, namely Rush Limbaugh and the Reverend Pat Robertson.
Robertson said on his TV show, the 700 Club that these problems and earthquakes happened because, in order to gain liberty from the French, Haitians made a “pact” with the Devil. Here are his words: “Something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it. They were under the heel of the French. You know, Napoleon III, or whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the Devil. They said, we will serve you if you’ll get us free from the French. True story. And so, the Devil said, okay it’s a deal.”
Throughout biblical history, we have records of great, periodic natural tragedies and catastrophic events where human beings, God’s beloved people, have lost life and property, throughout the world.
A brief sample listing of some of those natural tragedies and catastrophic events would include, but is not limited to, ocean tsunami phenomena, great regional droughts, devastating regional floods, massive hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, tornadoes and/or cyclones, great forest fires and, of course, earthquakes in diverse places.
In January 2010, in the western hemispheric region of the world, such a phenomena of catastrophic proportions, took place in a small island nation of the Caribbean, known as Haiti. Haiti, is also known as the poorest nation within that same hemispheric region.
I won’t belabor you with more information regarding the quake, for I am sure that we all are well saturated with that data, by the superb accounts of the modern news media, especially here on USAfricaonline.com
But, the more thought that I gave to the writing of this article, the less I wanted to respond to Limbaugh’s idiocy. I mean, what’s the use; you can’t remove an elephant’s trunk simply by disagreeing with its presence. Without the trunk, it wouldn’t be an elephant. So, I say that to say, that, Rush Limbaugh is who he is, specifically, because of what he is. Enough said.
On the other hand, because Rev. Robertson holds himself out as a Minister of God’s Gospels, and because of his international pulpit, I do have a greater concern regarding his statement.
Well, I think that Pat might have fallen asleep one night when Turner Classic Movies aired the movie, “The Devil and Daniel Webster”. It appears that he’s been subliminally programmed and he doesn’t know it. Regardless, he’s describing that movie to a tee.
It’s highly unlikely that a Minister of God’s Gospels would support the devil’s side in such a story, though. If he would have simply done a little research, he would have discovered that the majority of Haitians are either Catholic or Protestant. Both being God fearing Christian religions. Meaning that those people are covered by the blood of the everlasting covenant with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Our Savior, who died on the cross so that, if there were such a sin debt, to the devil, it would be paid in full. I’m talking about the atonement!! (Romans 5: 1-21)
What’s even more interesting is, that Pat Robertson, in all of the splendor and decades of his radio and TV ministry, didn’t know that simple fact about the Christianity that he, so desperately, claims to be a part of.
I remember when I was a teenager and still under my parent’s care, they couldn’t wait for the 700 Club to come on. They were two Christian parents who simply wanted to, “train up their children in the way they should go, so that when they got old they wouldn’t depart from it”. (Proverbs 22:6) It appears now that both of my parents could have been able to teach Pat a thing or two about Christianity. Wow, that’s a something!!
Let me ease your mind, Pat. The devil did not bring forth this earthquake. Bible prophecy speaks about famines, and pestilence and earthquakes, in divers places,… right about now. (Matthew 24:7).
This quake was God’s doing; all by himself. God told us that “His ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts”. (Isaiah 55:8-9) That means that we won’t always understand the things that God decides to do or not do. That’s why God requires us to have faith in Him; so that we will continue to trust his decisions, even in devastating times that may involve death, tragedy and catastrophic events, such as what the world is experiencing right now, through Haiti.
Remember: keep God first! God bless you.

Obama's desire to repeal "Don't ask, don't tell" can actually help to fulfill the "days of Lot" (Luke 17, cf. Gen. 19), the fulfillment of which will hurry up the return of the Heavenly Commander-in-Chief who will make all things straight (pun intended)! Interesting Google articles include "Obama Supports Public Depravity," "Obama Avoids Bible Verses," "Separation of Raunch and State" and "David Letterman's Hate Etc." – required reading for the "Obama 101" course.
PS – You're invited to use these new pro-life slogans: "Unborn babies should have the right to keep and bear arms – and legs and ears and eyes etc.!" and "Unborn babies should have the same right to be born alive that abortionists had!"
Thanks Br i enjoyed that, we cant lower the creator, to our foolish ways, I believe
