USAfricaonline.com Update: At least, 100 people have died since Friday night April 22, 2022 in an explosion at an illegal oil refining joint in the Abizi section of Egbema in the Ohaji/Egbema council of Imo State, Nigeria.
“The fire outbreak occurred at an illegal bunkering site and it affected over 100 people who were burnt beyond recognition,” the state commissioner for petroleum resources, Goodluck Opiah, has since confirmed.
